ZeroWine Sandbox is a malware analyser. It uses Wine to run call traces on Windows applications, particularly malware.

It is an excellent example of how to deal with malware in Wine: it runs Wine on Debian Linux in a QEMU virtual machine, so that the host machine cannot be infected.
Remember: Wine provides no sandboxing! If you think you're dealing with malware, treat it with the caution you would on Windows!
