Wine explorer
The Wine explorer is a "bridge" process that sits around linking the users GNOME/KDE desktop with the Win32 world and vice-versa. It's called "explorer" for no other reason, than this is the name of the shell process in Windows. It handles a number of system wide resources:
DesktopWindow: supports the standard Windows desktop window
SysTray: system tray integration
HAL-DBUS integration for allowing Win32 apps to respond to hardware events
RegistryIntegration: e.g. if you set the wallpaper in a Windows program like Paintbrush, IE or WebShots Desktop then the native wallpaper should change too
ColorScheme / ThemingSupport: not yet implemented
StandardDirectories: map the standard Windows directories to their Unix equivalents
