Founder and CEO of CodeWeavers. My personal goal is to help advance Wine as far as it can possibly go, with the end goal of eliminating the applications barrier to entry, thereby promoting a diverse and interesting computing infrastructure. The corporate goal is to do the same, while providing enough value to our customers by solving problems with Windows migrations that we can afford to eat.
The long story is that I was looking for an Atari 2600 emulator in the mid to late 1990's, and stumbled across the Wine project instead. In discussing what I'd do if I won the lottery, I thought it would be fun to quit my job and hack on Wine full time. It being the 90's and all, I decided instead to reinvent my business around helping folks use Wine to shift to different operating systems. The painful irony is that I do almost no hacking anymore, and instead focus my energy on helping to arrange financial support for Wine.
